Welcome to Voiceprint. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Voiceprint, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Who Can Use Voiceprint
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Voiceprint
- Account Responsibility: You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
3. Your Content and Intellectual Property
You Own Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to content you upload to Voiceprint (source material, survey responses, etc.) and content you generate using the platform.
License You Grant Us
By using Voiceprint, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process your source material to create your Voiceprint
- Store your content on our servers
- Use AI models (Claude) to analyze your voice and generate content for you
- Display your content back to you through the platform
This license exists solely to provide the service. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including training AI models or sharing with third parties.
Our Intellectual Property
The Voiceprint platform, including its design, code, methodology, and branding, is owned by Narrative Drive, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
4. Acceptable Use
You May Use Voiceprint To:
- ✅ Create authentic content in your voice
- ✅ Generate speeches, articles, newsletters, books, and other written content
- ✅ Build ASK Q&A instances for sharing your expertise
- ✅ Iterate and refine generated content with our revision system
You May NOT Use Voiceprint To:
- ❌ Impersonate someone else or create content falsely attributed to others
- ❌ Generate illegal, defamatory, harassing, or harmful content
- ❌ Violate intellectual property rights of others
- ❌ Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
- ❌ Distribute malware, spam, or engage in phishing
- ❌ Resell or redistribute Voiceprint services without authorization
- ❌ Use the service to train competing AI models
5. Service Availability and Modifications
- Uptime: We strive for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access
- Maintenance: We may temporarily suspend service for updates, backups, or maintenance
- Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Updates: We may update the platform to improve functionality, security, or performance
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Voiceprint uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate content. While we strive for accuracy and authenticity:
- Generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unintended outputs
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before publication
- We are not liable for consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content
- AI outputs should be treated as drafts requiring human oversight
7. Payment and Subscription (If Applicable)
If Voiceprint introduces paid plans:
- Fees will be clearly communicated before purchase
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
8. Termination
Your Right to Terminate
You may delete your account at any time through the platform settings. Upon deletion:
- Your personal data will be removed within 30 days
- You can export your Voiceprints and generated content before deletion
- Deleted data may persist in backups for up to 30 days
Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Fail to pay fees (if applicable)
- Use the service in ways that harm other users or the platform
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Voiceprint is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100 if you haven't paid anything)
- We are not responsible for third-party services (Anthropic, Hetzner, Sentry) or their performance
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Narrative Drive, Inc., its officers, employees, and contractors from claims arising from:
- Your use of Voiceprint
- Content you upload or generate
- Violation of these Terms or applicable laws
- Infringement of third-party rights
11. Data Backup and Loss
While we perform daily automated backups:
- You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content
- We are not liable for data loss due to technical failures, user error, or other causes
- Use the export features to save local copies of your Voiceprints and generated content
12. Third-Party Services
Voiceprint relies on third-party services:
We are not responsible for these third-party services or their terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States
- Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim, contact us at support@voice-print.ai to resolve disputes informally
- Arbitration: Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be settled through binding arbitration
- Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes:
- We'll notify you via email or prominent notice on the platform
- Changes take effect 30 days after notification
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- If you don't agree to changes, you may delete your account
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Voiceprint
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision doesn't waive our right to enforce it later
- Assignment: You may not transfer your account. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger or acquisition
